Wyda Packaging Expands: New Isando Factory Boosts Manufacturing Capacity

Wyda Packaging has reached an exciting milestone. Following our acquisition of Hulamin Containers earlier this year, we have opened a new manufacturing facility in Isando, Kempton Park — a major step forward in our capacity to serve South Africa's food packaging market.

This expansion is about one thing above all else: serving our customers better. More capacity, a wider product range, improved availability, and faster delivery — backed by strengthened local manufacturing right here in South Africa.

A New Manufacturing Home in Isando

Our new factory at 60B Electron Avenue, Isando has become the manufacturing and operational heart of Wyda Packaging. Our Operations and Sales teams have relocated to these larger premises, giving us the room to grow production and expand what we offer.

The move follows our acquisition of Hulamin Containers, which significantly increases our manufacturing capability. For our customers — from restaurants and caterers to retailers, wholesalers and distributors — this means a more reliable, more capable supply partner.

What This Means for Our Customers

Greater production capacity. Our expanded facility allows us to produce more, which means shorter lead times and better stock availability — even during peak demand.

A wider product range. Over the coming weeks we will be introducing an expanded range of aluminium foil containers and food packaging products, giving customers more options from a single trusted supplier.

Improved availability. More capacity and smarter operations mean the products you rely on are in stock when you need them.

Faster delivery. Managing our own dispatch from our dedicated distribution centre gives us tighter control over turnaround times and getting orders to you sooner.

Proudly local manufacturing. Every Wyda product is manufactured in South Africa. This expansion strengthens local manufacturing and supports local jobs, while giving customers the confidence of a dependable domestic supply chain.

Collections and Distribution

To support the expanded operation, we have organised our logistics across dedicated sites:

• Gauteng manufacturing and head office — 60B Electron Avenue, Isando, Kempton Park
• Gauteng collections and dispatch — our existing factory at 27 Forge Road, Spartan, Kempton Park, now serving as our dedicated Dispatch and Distribution Centre
• Cape Town distribution — arrangements remain unchanged, ensuring continuity for our Western Cape customers

All existing telephone numbers and email addresses remain the same, ensuring a seamless transition for every customer.
