WHAT is recyclable?
WYDA containers and household foil are made out of 100% aluminium Aluminium can be recycled indefinitely without losing its properties.
Tipp: Scrape food residue from the container or foil to optimise the recycling process.
WYDA clear PET lids are made of up to 80% from recycled PET, mainly bottles. The lids are recyclable and eventually could become synthetic fibre for clothes.
WYDA Board Lids are composites of paper and a laminate made of PET. When separated both items are recyclable.

HOW to recycle?
Sign up with a recycling collection company such as Whole Earth Recycling www.wholeearth.co.za. They will collect your recyclable material from your home, complex, office or school within Johannesburg for a small monthly fee. No sorting is required – Whole Earth Recycling supports a community project consisting of 24 sorters that sort and sell the recyclable material in order to generate an income for themselves.
Drop off your Aluminium containers at your local recycling drop off site, which can be found on COLLECT-A-CAN www.collectacan.co.za who will pay you per kg.
Separate your Aluminium containers and other recyclables at least in order to improve the process of services like PIKITUP www.pikitup.co.za.
